Med-Track™ was an idea born from frustration of a healthcare consulting company who couldn't find a product that worked well for their clients. They were able to team up with a software development firm, who could translate their needs to a useable application. The result was Med-Track™.
Med-Track™ sells and supports unique physician relationship management software. The software is designed to be used by physician liaisons, medical marketing representatives, physician recruiters, and anyone else who interacts with physicians on a regular basis.

The concept for Med-Track™ was first developed by The Horizon Group almost 4 years ago. The Horizon Group, a healthcare consulting company based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, has been in practice for over a decade. They have extensive experience working with hospitals and both private and hospital-owned physician practices.
After completing several hospital medical staff development projects, senior staff at The Horizon Group realized the need for a software product that could help manage efforts to improve relationships with physicians. They looked for a software product that could not only manage appointment information and contact information specific to physicians, but that could produce reports to document the efforts of staff and the outcomes related to those efforts. After an extensive search, they realized no such product was on the market, so they made the decision to create one that could. It was then that TreadPath Software entered the picture. TreadPath brought over 10 years of experience in the software business that could turn The Horizon Group's idea into a reality. Using the latest technology they have made Med-Track™ into a true web application. After almost 2 years of planning, programming, and testing, Med-Track™ was officially released on March 9, 2005! |
